Lady Liberty Loves Jesus

Because I broke my blog last week, Hashbrown beat me to posting about this. But thanks to my brother Brian, I already knew all about it.

If I may, I'd like to quote Brian here, as we were just discussing it again today.:

Here's my favorite part of that article:

"This statue proves that Jesus Christ is Lord over America, he is Lord over Tennessee, he is Lord over Memphis."

Yes... that's exactly what it proves. It doesn't prove that a bunch of fucking morons have too much money.

Well said, sir.

And let it be noted that this is one of those crazy made-up southern churches with like 12,000 members and a very "charismatic" leader. I like to call them "cults".
