IT IS SNOWING IN BOSTON IN THE WINTER! OMG OMG OMG! SHOULD I PUT THE WIPERS UP ON MY CAR? WILL THE STORE/THEATER/CAFE I WANT TO GO TO BE OPEN? WILL SCHOOL BE OPEN TOMORROW? DO I HAVE TO MOVE MY CAR? OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!

Snowpocalypse 2010.

This is one thing I always love about Christmas, shitty as everything else might be at the moment:

There is no better way to start than a short midweek trip staying slopeside for $68 ski and stay. (Except a long midweek trip... :)

We had the place to ourselves. There may have literally been 1 other person in the our condo (the entire building) including staff during our stay.

There was lots of snowboarding. We had some delicious food including our now traditional stop at Applebee's on the way home.

If this seems like fun to you, you might want to check out Sunday River's site to reserve a trip yourself. Did I mention it was $68 per day for the lift ticket AND lodging? Or just take a look at the trail maps to get an overview of the mountain.

Flat Patties in Harvard Square

We went here in the past when we lived on Beacon Hill with Heather Rose but then it moved locations and we were sad and thought it shut down. We were happy to find out recently that it had only relocated - today we were walking around Harvard Square and Rob had the great idea to eat here.

Burgers = delicious. Fries = delicious. Grilled buns = delicious. Also, cheap. 2 burgers, fries and a drink cost around $12.
