PETA sucks for so many reasons I've lost count
My brother Dan first sent me an article related to this years ago, but here's a refresher for you, everyone:

PETA, I hate you more than I think I hate anything else in this world, and that's saying a lot.
I can't even think about this anymore right now. I can't fathom why PETA still exists, unless its entire purpose is to drive me out of my mind completely.

What's going on right now
I swear, someday we will be done fixing things and moving in. Maybe before our 2 year anniversary of moving in, which will be December 31, 2011. For pete's sake. I hope so. I made a Homeownership category on this blog but it is woefully out of date. I will try to keep it current, though. The process of fixing things and putting things where they belong continues.
We adopted two kitties from the Animal Rescue League of Boston in the fall of 2010. Molly is a sweet black and white/piebald kitty who was found on the streets as a stray. Katie is a torbie/Maine Coon who was confiscated in a hoarding case where there were 98 cats total. Both are great in their own way. Hopefully at some point they will realize that about each other. Every once in a while I catch them grooming each other nicely but usually they are tackling each other. Or, rather, Katie is tackling Molly and Molly is hissing and smacking the hell out of her. Katie is not quite a year old so she has to outgrow some kitten tendencies. Hopefully as she mellows they can become better friends.

Many of you probably have heard Emily stories. She was a sweet and funny cat who seemed to get more personality every year. Imagine how much she had by the time she was 17 and a half years old!
