I'm kind of obsessed with this book. I think it's because I'm already sick of dyeing my hair and I'm only 31! Of course, thanks to some awesome genetics, grays have been sneaking onto my head since I was a teenager.
I think if I really had a full head of nice silver or white hair I'd probably go with it, but I'm worried my natural sort of bland medium/dark ash brown hair + a ton of greys will just look messy and weird.
I've been considering switching from permanent dye to the kind that lasts for 4-6 weeks and slowly fades to see how it looks as it grows in.
Anyway, regardless of what I decide, I think this book looks really interesting. And check out the great group of before and after shots the author has on her site (that is, women before growing in their natural gray hair, and after - and even a few who have never dyed theirs).

I don't THINK I know Michelle K. but I'm not 100% sure. I might just be drawing a blank.
You are so sweet though! I'm seriously sick of the expense and hassle of dying it and I am never going to be a person who spends $100+ a month for someone else to dye it (I can't imagine the horror of spending this!) so I'd rather just try to ease into letting it be gray. If it looks awful well then we're back to the $10/month do it yourself variety.
At least I have just about made peace with the other issues with my hair and I can now live with the curls when necessary and coax it into being straight when I want!

I know I'm a guy and it's different, but I've seen the men in my family with a head full of black hair in their 60's - so I know men dye too. I refuse - although I had been growing a beard for a month or so - talk about graybeard. Nothing makes you look older than a gray beard.

Thanks, very nice of you.
First, check my

Tip: Check around for better pricing. Amazon's pricing is usually good, but not always the best available.
A quick Froogle search can't hurt.
