Sheilagh Bridget
Sheilagh Bridget is my INFP sister. If you haven't ever taken the Myers Briggs test, or a fake pseudo-test, you're missing out on some good fun.
Anyway, we are both super-geniuses. She even has a certificate to prove it. This means that any evidence to the contrary is plainly wrong or fake.
Sheilagh is my hero because she went from being a religion major at Smith to, somehow, being a midwife birthin' Amish babies in rural PA. She had to take lots of crazy classes her final year at Smith and then even after, when she was living in Boston and working at "the crazy place", in order to do this. And she had to get a nursing degree before doing further study to get her midwifery degree. She went to Columbia which is further proof of her genius status.
Sheilagh is always up for a good cry for no reason over a shamelessly sappy country song.

What's going on right now
I swear, someday we will be done fixing things and moving in. Maybe before our 2 year anniversary of moving in, which will be December 31, 2011. For pete's sake. I hope so. I made a Homeownership category on this blog but it is woefully out of date. I will try to keep it current, though. The process of fixing things and putting things where they belong continues.
We adopted two kitties from the Animal Rescue League of Boston in the fall of 2010. Molly is a sweet black and white/piebald kitty who was found on the streets as a stray. Katie is a torbie/Maine Coon who was confiscated in a hoarding case where there were 98 cats total. Both are great in their own way. Hopefully at some point they will realize that about each other. Every once in a while I catch them grooming each other nicely but usually they are tackling each other. Or, rather, Katie is tackling Molly and Molly is hissing and smacking the hell out of her. Katie is not quite a year old so she has to outgrow some kitten tendencies. Hopefully as she mellows they can become better friends.

Many of you probably have heard Emily stories. She was a sweet and funny cat who seemed to get more personality every year. Imagine how much she had by the time she was 17 and a half years old!
