Visa and Mastercard = non-profits?

OK, so this article is kind of interesting. Then my eyes almost popped out of their sockets when I read this line:

Visa and MasterCard are nonprofit associations made up of thousands of bank members.

I guess I never really thought about exactly what Visa and Mastercard were... but I certainly never would have thought of them as non-profits. Sounds pretty shady to me. If you're a non-profit why are you violating anti-trust policy? It must be to help the community.

Thanks for stopping by!

Really?

Thanks, very nice of you.

First, check my

Amazon.com wishlist

and there's no need to worry that I already have it or won't use it.

Tip: Check around for better pricing. Amazon's pricing is usually good, but not always the best available.

A quick Froogle search can't hurt.
