So the last time I got a professional haircut was December 8, 2002. Yes, that is a long time ago. While we've been living on slimmer funding I've cut back on this luxury which I had only recently in my lifetime allowed myself anyway. However, my hair was long and gross (long hair generally grosses me out) and the ends were all split, etc., so finally last week I made an appointment here for Friday.
Well, I had a great haircut, even had the stylist style it "curly" (usually I have them blow it out straight because it's such hard work and I like to be treated to it sometimes rather than doing it myself). She was super cool but the sad news is, she told me she's moving back to NYC in a couple of weeks! So that was sad. She was from Ohio just like me so we laughed about how crazy Ohio is and bonded over how everyone from there either gets as far away as possible quickly, or never leaves. Fortunately for me, my family doesn't live there anymore, but hers still does. Sorry, Ohio, I'm just not a big fan of you.
So it was kind of a happy sad haircut because I really liked the woman who cut my hair, but she's leaving.
I have a semi-regular stylist at Safar on Newbury Street that I've been going to the last bunch of times I got my hair done, but this place seemed like a good new place to try because it's closer to where we live and right next to a nice big Starbucks that Rob can sit in if he comes with me.
I'll probably try going back there again. It's an Aveda concept salon so they also do some other spa type stuff including some kind of really pampered pedicure. That sounds NICE.

Yes, I should post a picture of the haircut and also lots of other pictures we have that we need to post.
Rob Reed and I decided that because he has such strong opinions about everything everyone wears, that I should start taking pictures of "Rob Reed approved" and "Non-approved" outfits that I wear. People can comment about whether they agree with his verdicts or not.
The haircut is nothing too major. It was just so long that it was gross. So it's like shoulder length now and just with some layers. I haven't worn it straight since it was cut.

Really?
Thanks, very nice of you.
First, check my
and there's no need to worry that I already have it or won't use it.
Tip: Check around for better pricing. Amazon's pricing is usually good, but not always the best available.
A quick Froogle search can't hurt.
