Oh look, we made an entire bird species extinct. Nice work humans.

Now if you already are a pinko commie like me who believes in things like conservation and protecting the environment and being tolerant of differences and that freedom is more important than security etc., etc., etc., then you are already mad.

If you are the opposite of me and would prefer to live in a military state where police regularly ask you for your "papers" on any given street corner, you can be arrested for looking like you might be from another country, and you believe that you should be able to tell people which (if any) religion is the "right" one, and that one is of course, naturally, Christianity, then let me put it in terms you can understand:

Job 12:7-10. But ask the animals, and they will teach you; or birds of the air and they will tell you; or speak to the earth and it will teach you; or let the fish of the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the lord has done this. In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.

Lev. 25:23-24. The land is mine and you are but aliens and my tenants. Throughout the country that you hold as a possession, you must provide for the redemption of the land.

Ezekiel 34:17-18. As for you, my flock... Is it not enough for you to feed on good pasture? Must you also trample the rest of your pasture with your feet? Is it not enough for you to drink clear water? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet?

You're welcome. I hope this helps you understand, if nothing else will, that we should not be fishing the seas until they are empty or destroying entire species of wildlife.

In case you still don't get it, and are currently thinking something along the lines of, "Oh, who cares about some bird on a lake? We don't need that bird," then I have one more example to give you. This is a famous quote about the Holocaust. (Note: if you are a completely insane person who believes the Holocaust never happened, immediately leave this site and never ever come back. In fact, go jump off the nearest tallest building you can find.)

How is this related? Well, if you think we don't need a random bird or a particular fish or a certain type of tree, I'm just trying to point out to you that something was eating that bird and that bird was eating something. And everything is related, genius, and we're going to be in a sorry state when we have successfully killed every living thing on the planet except human beings. I guess then it's time for Soylent Green, right?
