OK Barack, you're on notice

You're on my shit list and it's not even close to 1 year into your term. Did all my readers realize what a ridiculous lame-ass mess the federal benefits thing he just signed for same-sex partners is? Not even health benefits? Dude, I ASSUMED we were talking about standard benefits like health insurance, decision-making powers in medical situations, etc.

Who the hell cares that someone can take sick leave now to take care of their partners? I don't think this is anyone's primary concern. I think I could figure out how to take a fucking sick day of my own if my partner was sick, but I might have trouble figuring out how the fuck to pay her doctor's bills and pay for her prescriptions, since I can't cover her under my federal health insurance.

WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK YOU LAME ASSHOLE? Way to completely go back on a bunch of promises, chicken out, and be a total douchebag. Thanks, President Douchebag.

I'm out.

But BOO to California

I can't find anything declaring a definitive call on Prop 8 but it looks bad.

CA, what gives? Don't you want to be cool and, you know, not hateful? Like MA?

And apparently proponents of Prop 8 don't like it when other people play dirty. It's interesting how upset you get about "intolerance" and "bigotry" when it's directed at you, huh? Hmmm. What an interesting conundrum. I wonder how to resolve it?

(Hint: try not being intolerant and bigoted. Studies show it works, you fucking self-congratulatory jackasses.)
