Kids, I need to get my summer shoes!

What should I get? A different kind, like maybe these or these? Or the classics?

This is it folks! The time of year when I make an unrealistic birthday list and post it online, hoping that someone will win the lottery and buy me all of it! Ha ha. Hey, I can dream, right?

So as you may already know, I'm a clothes whore as well as a shoe whore. In addition I would like to inform you that I am an accessories whore.

Here are a bunch of nice things you can buy me:
(You might not know it based on my usual somewhat boring and at times sloppy appearance, but I love pretty pretty dresses and girly things.)

Banana Republic

• White shirtdress, and a belt to go with it. Dress, size 10, white. Belt I have no idea. Medium I guess, in "Doe".
• Cotton chino dress, size 10, in khaki.
• Cotton chino skirt, size 10, in khaki and navy.
• Chino "suit" pants, size 10, in navy, and matching jacket, same size/color. (See how I'm mixing and matching? The jacket goes with the pants AND the skirt!)
• Black sling-backs, size 9.

J. Crew

• Striped shirtdress, navy, size 10.
• Marybeth dress, navy, size 10. I really love something about this dress. It's so feminine and pretty.
• Oxford skirt, bluebell, size 10.
• Stretch chino skirt, british khaki, size 10.
• Paper poplin camp shirt, dark thyme and/or navy, size L. Such a great light layer for the summer!
• "French school girl" shirt, size 10.
• Slouch jeans, lighter and looser for the summer, size 10.

Gap

• Boyfriend trouser, size 10, dark beige.

• Cotton sleeveless shift, size M, black. Casual but nicer than jeans.

Yes, Tiffany, but I'm not crazy. It's the affordable stuff.

• Silver rose ring I've had my eye on this one for years.

Mac Makeup

I love this lipstick.

• Lipstick in: Hug Me, Sheer Plum, and Spice it Up.
  All in the "finish" called "lustre"

Crocs

• Ballet flat crocs? I'll give them a try. Size 9 or equiv, sea foam.
• Beach - the original! Size 9 or equiv, light blue. I loved my green pair that Clementine gave me last year to death. The soles are paper thin and about to go. Wouldn't you like to get me another pair so all the Croc-haters can make fun of me for another year? I'd actually take just about any color but please no pukey colors like mustard yellow or brown.

I really like Vera Bradley bags. Well, some of them. I don't like all the patterns, but when they pick a fabric I like for the quilted bags, I love them.

My current favorite pattern is Peacock but there are several that I think are pretty nice.

If anyone wants to get me a nice little gift, I need a new smaller handbag, and I like this one a lot.

I'm just saying.

So we got some Macy's gift cards at work through a vendor promotion and I'm so happy because I finally got my perfume that I've been wanting for forever and never had an excuse or reason to buy (other than I wanted it). So hooray for free goodies during the holidays! I love this scent, it makes me so happy.

As you may guess, I don't own too much cashmere. I have one sweater that's cashmere/silk and that's the extent of it.

But look! Lord & Taylor is having a nice cashmere sale! So if you're wondering, I wouldn't mind having a nice turtleneck or lovely wrap sweater or this cute little v-neck either. Just in case you were wondering. $69 is pretty good for real cashmere. Usually it's about twice that much.

Any non-ugly color is fine and probably M for size is fine.

You know, I really kind of like these. And since Rob Reed has temporarily stolen my messenger bag, I could use something other than a canvas book tote to carry my knitting in.

The bag I think is the coolest is this one. I like Cypress or Ocean Blue, so surprise me.

Somebody could get me new iPod earphones, because these things are killing me. They don't stay in my ears anyway, but at the same time they kill if I wear them for very long.

So my parents asked what we all want for Christmas.

Good question! I'd better get on that. I know there are probably legions of fans out there dying to know what they can send me. I'll let you all know as soon as I can, don't worry.

But I just have to add a little commentary here that this year, once again, stores had Christmas stuff out BEFORE HALLOWEEN which is totally ridiculous and unacceptable.

Feel like getting me a Fall Celebration present? Early Christmas? Late birthday? Halloween? Maybe Columbus Day to celebrate my Italian heritage. Ha ha.

Well, in case you do, I could really use this foot massager, since my right foot is KILLING ME due to, as I have self-diagnosed, plantar fasciitis. If I could have this under my desk it would really help to be able to roll my foot on it I think during the day.

And, on another note, just as necessary, though not because of a medical condition, is a new straightening iron. Seriously, especially in the humidity of the summer, this is a lifesaver. I know summer's almost over but if I want to look decent with my dumb curly hair, I either have to get expensive haircuts or be able to put my hair up without looking like a kindergartner (which is what I tend to look like when curls pop out all over the place) straightening helps a lot.

Why do I need a new one? I left my last one in a rental car on my way back from a company retreat. Genius.
